Mend Hoover D6174 Dryer Start Wife

how can i fix my hoover appolo delux dryer model D6174?

hi there, my dryer wont start anymore my wife told me so i had a look and found the filter was more than full (like never been cleaned type of full). I have since cleaned it out and tried it out but still not turn on. I thought it might of over heated and tripped out, is there a reset button? Or has it burnt out the something and is it fixable?
