Mend Leyland DAF 45.150 Main Beam Changed

Can't get main beam to work at all on my Leyland Daf 45 150 03 plate ?

Leyland Daf 45 150 03 plate main beam will not work
I have changed bulbs
I have checked fuses
He blue main bean indicator lights up on dash but nothing in the main lights
Any ideas please

hiya. the fuseboxes are tempermental. it be a bad comection on back ofbox. if u can find it ur betr man than me lol. everytime thought id got it till tightened screws n then went out again. i cut 2 little packers of ply n wedged them between fuse box n dash n works fine n has done for years. hope this helps

Lee - I am not a motor engineer - I'm just guessing but...

I would expect the relays to be mainly of the same type - in your situation I would try to swap them around in a controlled way - i.e. mark them before you move them.

My idea is a defective relay - the control switch in the cab will make the blue light come on and also operate the main beam relay - the relay is very probably defective.

I just guess this answer
