How may I fix my CDRW/DVD?

in most cases, its cheaper to buy a new one if there is a hardware failure, as labour costs more than they are worth. Check to see if the comms cable is ok (IDE cable) usually grey or black inside your PC, swap it with the one from the hard drive if you have an old hard drive.
