Mend Kenmore 110.63954102 Dryer Heat

How can i fix my kenmore 110.63954102 elite heavy duty dryer?

when i press the start/run button the drum does begin to turn
but once released evrything stops (should just press the button
and dryer goes). if i hold the button the drum will turn but no heat. any suggestions?
