how do you fix the heat on a Kenmore Elite SmartHeat Quiet Pak 9 dryer???

How do you fix the heat on a Kenmore Elite SmartHeat Quiet Pak 9 dryer???
We've had the dryer for almost 3 years, and now notice that after a normal dry cycle that the clothes are still very damp--takes about 2-3 cycles to dry clothes now...any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I have the same dryer with the same problem. Did you find any answers? I haven't. It is very frustrating.

The problem is a restricted exhaust, not the dryer.
