The alarm light stays on and the fridge / freezer is not as cold as should be.
The drain pipe is open and there is no ice on the condensor

Is the compressor running? Does it cut in and out at the correct temperatures?

Coluls be a failed compressor (replace freezer) or possibly a failed thermostat/sensor (possible replaceable).
