KitchenAid Model KV25G0XER will not turn on?

KitchenAid Stand Mixer Model KV25G0XER was purchased over 1 year ago and left in box. Removed from box recently and unit will not turn on.
Outlet is good. Other appliances work in same outlet.
unit was securely plugged into outlet.
Removed cover and all connections seem to be good.

What are we missing?
