KM32 Motor Arm Jammed?

I have a KM32 that I bought to use for spares. The motor (gear) arm is jammed on the motor unit and the release toggle is broken. I have tried banging on the remnants of the toggle to release the arm, but to no avail. It is stuck. Even manged to break of some of the remaining aluminum bits left... but it doesnt release. I now realise why the toggle broke (under the previous owners regime) to start with. Is there any way for me to get that off? I really need the crown of the main unit for my existing KM32. Is there any bit that could have come loose in the motor arm that could be jamming the release catch? Used a couple of cans of WD 40 thinking that the metal could be corroded and holding fast. No cigar! HELLLLLLLP!

Ok I finally figured it out myself after hours of prodding and fiddling.
- First had to disassemble the entire motor to get
the crown off the machine after removing the
armature and mounting screws.
- Broke the plastic clutch ( drive pinion) with a
screwdriver
- used a crescent spanner to hook on the locking
plate of the motor arm and banged away until
the locking plate slowly gave up its grip.

Turns out the previous owners probably never cleaned the underside of the motor arm in the last 30 years, and then left the machine idle for a long while. The kitchen grease had waxed and bound up so hard that even 4 cans of WD40 were wasted. Anyway managed to get the whole thing apart with only the loss of the plastic clutch and the already broken drive arm release toggle.
