Mend Miele Premier 3000 Fault Washing Machine Switch

electric fault on Miele Premier 3000?

when i put the washing machine on it trips the switch in my electric control box, what could cause this.The miele is only 4 years old,but it is outside of its guarantee

Miele Miele Premier 3000 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Fault Washing Machine Switch

You do not say at which point in the machine's cycle the trip happens - a probable cause is the heating element - but if the trip happens immediately a programme begins it will not be the element.

A service engineer will soon sort it out for you - something in the machine is likely causing a short to earth.
