Mend Zanussi Am Missing Something

Am I missing something?

The main switch in my consumer unit tripped when my zanussi washing machine was mid cycle. I have not discovered what caused the switch to trip, it may have been the washer. When the power is connected to the machine all the lights are on, the door is locking but the start button just keeps flashing when depressed. Is the fault in the machine or am I missing something?

does sound like the washer has done something.common issue is for the door interlock to fail and cause pcb issues but without testing it its hard to say!
