Mend Vauxhall Corsa Change

Change the bulb Vauxhall corsa automatic?

I brought a new bulb for the instrument clock for the mileage clock stripped it all down to put the new bulb in and it doesn't work is there a poticular way to put the bulb in?

There are two lugs on the bulb which locate in slots in the rear of the binnacle,turn it 90 degrees and it should be ok,not unusual to have a faulty new bulb either.
