The channels that have the problem may be from a distant transmitter and weaker i strength than the channels that do not break up - not all transmitters send out the same group of channels.
Find out which transmitter you are closest to - look to see what channels it sends out.
If your aerial checks out ok it may also be down to the aerial connectors being poorly made.
If some channels are good and others not good then it will not be down to the recorder - just a weak signal.
