how to remove a immobiliser in a Toyota rav4 ?

i was driving when i stalled my car, when i tried to start the car again it was unresponsive it wouldnt do anything, i used the fob to get the car to turn back on and it was fine. then today i went into a shop and when i came out i tried to start the car but nothing would work i tried the fob but it still wouldnt work, i was there for 3 hours trying to get it to work does anyone have any idea how to remove the immobiliser from the car? the car is a Toyota Rav 4 1996. thanks can provide any additional information if needed
