if u hav a central locking button on the dash, and when u turn ur key a light flashes rapidly on the dash[red] and ur renault is under 1997?, i found a free calculator with google where it needed the key number[from inside the fob key] it needed the su number of the sticker on inside of driver door, put these into the calc and it gives u a four digit code,
now to enter the code, u remember what i said above about the light flashing rapidly--now get it to that point[key turned], and when u hold down the central locking button, the flashes slow alot, now say the code is 1234 hold the CL buton down count 1 flash, release CL butt' then immediatlt press in again and count 2 flashes, keep oing this till all four digits are entered, the light sould stay on RED-no flashes[if not try again], u can ow start car- immobilizer bypassed,
unfortuantely i cant remember or find link to it, nor do i want to giv my email out, if i find a link ill post it, google' renault megane immobilzer calc, keep trying diff variants of that and search deep as page 20 each time--ull find i m8...
for those of u who have no CL button , u press accelerator peddle down , and use the rear wiper --press in buttion then to slow flashes, i belevie this works on all rennos below 1997!! hope helpz, and u find it .....
the guy who posted the programme stated that he hated the fact that he worked for renault and they charged100 notes for the code, for some thing that should be your right if ur key breaks, so i beleive he prob stole prog and put it up on net!!! put it this way it well worked for me. my fob was going dodgy for a while so i was looking for wasys to solve it temperoy, 1 day after i got this code suff my fob knackered[well lucky!!]
my car is a 1996 megane rt 1.6ei 5dr hatch, so shold work, says it works on all renaults under 1997, NOT JUST MEGANES!!, though i aint tried it-only on mine, !!!
