Can I swap to a cheaper part?

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy. The fuel pump is not working and I need a new one. The specific one for my Vehicle is 1129.85 Is there a cheaper option?

I worked on gm products for over 25 years and have never seen a fuel [ump cost this much ......close to 300 dollars but never this much
Sounds like you need to take it somewhere else .....but yes there are after market fuel pumps for this truck ....pep boys advanced auto parts ect ...............
