Changed fuel injector pump Opal Zafira still won`t start?
Hi guys diagnostic machine said fuel injector pump in my Opal Zafira 2lt diesel year 2000 was broken. Got one from scrap yard no joy so returned it and got another one from another yard. Time to pull the hair out it still won`t start. All codes match on old and new pump and I was told it came out of a working car. One main dealer tells me it has to be reprogrammed and another main dealer says the opposite. Mechanic tells me pump is full of diesel and no air locks. He is pulling his hair out. Has any one and ideas on what the problem might be. Car turns over but just will not start and no continuous lights on dashboard. Have no car last three weeks...Help please
Some good diesel guys on there. Do you know your engine code, they will ask for that.

Is the battery in good condition, fully charged?
They can be hard to start after the pipes have been off, sometimes have to tow it in gear for a bit to get it going.
Does your diagnostics show fuel pressure?
