Simpson Genesis agitator only goes one way?

You need to listen to the sound when it is in agitate cycle. If it runs one way & then sounds like it is trying to go the other way but jamming then you have a clutch or gearbox problem or brake arm has not locked gearbox to stop it rotating. If on the other hand the sound only goes one way & the reverse is silent then you will probably find no power is supplied on the reverse movement. That would be either a timer fault or the electronic motor controller in the panel is faulty.
