Mend Oven House Electric

Integrated oven and hob died!?

Hi,

Just moved into this house, the electric oven and hob are fitted but have died on us. There is a switch on the wall to turn the power to it on and off, usually the red light above it lights up when switched on but it's not now. The clock etc isn't showing either, it's just doing nothing at all. Is there a fuse anywhere I should check?

Yes there will be a circuit breaker - ask the landlord or the agent where the distribution (fuse) board is - or go looking for it in a cupboard.
