Can we just replace our electric oven and leave the existing gas hob?
Our new house has quite an old electric oven in and gas hob. Last weekend the oven packed up, but the hob is working okay.
Can we just get someone in to install the new electric oven (or even trying to do it myself?) or are the hob and electric oven going to be bound together so require corgi registered engineer?
I know the oven is a Baumatic, but can't provide any other details as there's no instruction manual and all the markings have rubbed off.
there not USUALLY link together.they tend to be seperate items.you would need to attempt to remove the electric oven from underneath the hob to 100% prove the point.oven should slide out easy enough once released
