Miele Novotronic T490 Vented Tumble Dryer not recognising when clothes dry?

Our tumble dryer no longer moves through the programmes from drying, to cooling, and then to finish. It just keeps on drying! Think a sensor must have stopped working so it is not recognising that the clothes are dry?
