Mend Ford Focus Lights Working Fitted

Back dash lights not working after a new speed sensor was fitted?

I had a new speed sensor fitted on my ford focus 02 plate & the speedometer etc is working fine but for some reason my back dashboard lights now don't work & light up. Can anybody tell me if this could be to do with the new speed sensor fitted?

wireing clips are not tight, on the dash back lights , hit a tap and see if it flickers on ,
