Mend Dimplex Fire Flame

On Dimplex fire type Exbury EBY15 the flame effect is not working?

The flame effect is not working, I have checked the batteries and they are ok, because when I press the on button,the signal beeps at the fire but the lights and flame effect does not come on.
Can anybody help please
