sweda 2810 powers up but no activity from keys ?

when pressed no actionfrom keys...has been stored in a basement for years manual does not have a troubleshooting section just basic operation.....does it hvae to be reprogrammed and where is battery that needs to be replaced...as journal feed and receipt feed buttons dont work even when switched on

hi there is the function key turned to reg now is there little square lit on the display if there is it needs a till roll on the audit side not receipt side if not that switch tilloff open cover on main board there 10 dip switches dip switch 1 to on then switch on till then switch off dip1
