fault finding on zanussi XC1200?

When machine is switched on there is a short delay and then no display but beeps approximately 1 sec intervals. Machine will enter diagnostic mode but does not show any error code. With 30° selected start/stop and skip/reset buttons will step program position LED's. My background is electronics and systems engineer. Any clues on the fault or where to obtain a maintenance manual appreciated.
