Mend Fisher and Paykel DW820 Dishwasher Rinse Cycle Pump

Fisher and paykel DW820 beeps after rinse cycle?

Hi. I have a problem with my F and P DW820 dishwasher that doesn't happen every time. Sometimes it runs thru the whole wash cycle fine, and other times it gets to the end of the rinse cycle and starts beeping as it is pumping the water out. The pump keeps pumping, and the beeping keeps goin. I turned the power off at wall and it stopped. Any ideas what the problem is causing the beeping? thanks

Hi Lincoln appliance. It has the DW820 door and control panel so no fault codes are displayed. We have ran dishwasher thru another couple of times and it hasn't happened again so far. I will have to wait til next time it does it and reply then ( if there is a next time). I put the dw820 door on cos i accidentally broke temp sensor connected to the control module on the DW920 door. I swapped whole door off another machine and wired the harness to the appropriate places....pumps etc. Thanks

It may or may not blink. Whichever light is on when it beeps is the error code which will explain the problem. A DW920 would have a digital display which will show a fault code i.e. F1, F2 etc If you can give me a fault code & can look it up for you.

I didn't actually notice if the light was blinking. Was on the 'fast' cycle and the beeping noise was going beep...beep...beep, but pump was pumping at same time. I turned off at wall and turned back on and beeping had stopped. Just tried starting a new cycle and it started ok. Has done this before but definately not every time. It is actually a DW920 with a DW820 door (long story.....haha ).
