how can i fix my kenmore ultrawash 665.1348?

The smart wash function stopped working some time ago. If I used the normal wash cycle it worked fine, until yesterday. Now, when I hit normal wash then start the cycle begins, filling the tub with water,washing etc... but instead of the the wash light being on, its skips to the drying light instead. Keep in mind it's washing while the drying light indicator is on. then after awhile the delay button lights up with the cancel button, they alternate going on and off. it continues to do this and never drains unless i push the button. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've tried different reset tests that I've found on this site, but none matched my issue either. I have also killed power to the machine and reset it that way. Thanks!
