Have a Hoover Optima washing machine, water comes out drawer?

I have a hoover optima, less than 2 years old, and water is running out over the top of the dispensing drawer.
The soap goes in the drum with the washing, its not overloaded, all pipes etc are clear and the fabric conditioner is still in the drawer.
It did come up with a code but I didn't note it down before I turned it off. This is the second time - help please?
