I have pulled the pull cord out of the Flymo maxi trim 430?

I have pulled the starter cord out of my flymo maxi trim 430, the securing not has undone, what is the easyiest way to replace it, if there is an easy way.
At the moment i am thinking that I will have to take the arm off and all the housing covers. Am I right
