Mend Thompson TDT7120 Tv Recorder Start

my Thompson top up tv recorder wont turn on?

every Time I turn on my recorder the thompson will go through the start up programe, this takes about 15 min before it can be used. some times it recordes the selected programe some times it does not even if the machine looks like it is.

Have you upgraded the EPG because the topup TV one is no longer being transmitted?
