Mend Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 208 D Diesel Engine

Hi 1998 sprinter 208 D 2.3?

She starts and runs but will not turn off

anyone had the same problem or can anyone

help

Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 208 D Vehicles, Vans Sprinter Diesel Engine

The fuel cut of is on the pump it works via the engine vacume pump. check the pipes to the fuel pump for splits also behind the ignition switch.It gets its supply from the pipe to the brake servo.The plunger on the pump is normally the problem.

quite an old van this so it may have a fuel cut of valve on the fuel pump,sorry not sure but if it has check you are getting voltage to it and it may be removable to check the ball/valve isn`t sticking/seized.
