Fob still not working?

Hi all, i have replaced the battery in my 04 fiesta and followed the listed process but although i get the bleep from the car after 4 quick key turns i dont get another after pressing any of the keys on the fob, i have tried removing the key after the initial bleep and then pressing fob buttons and also leaving the key in the ignition and doing it but no joy whatever i try....any ideas please??
