How do you turn off chime?

There's nothing in the manuals relating to a chime facility either mate,

Wonder if it's a later pcb?

Try pressing mem button the 0 then reset.

Have you ever replaced the control panels battery because one failing can generate all types of silly faults,one other thing have you another working keypad other than the one on the panel?.

Don't think the XM's or the XL's have chime facility,unless it has (CHIME) button on keypad and I can't remember seeing it.

Are you sure you haven't entered walk test in programming?.

Try pressing 0 then reset twice.
