Mend Dimplex Chadwick Optiflame Bang Switched Light

dimplex optiflame went bang when switched on?

Hi
I have a dimplex chadwick optiflame which has been fine for the past two years, then one day I switched the light effect on and it went bang. I got replacement bulbs which were for electric fire but it went bang again... any ideas?

Yes the pcb has blown capacitor can no longer hold the voltage remove the left bulb this will reduce stress on the pcb it worked for me
