B & O TV MK 4000 about 20yrs old wont stay on?

The red light top right hand corner of TV, should change to green when switched on, it does for a few seconds, then goes back to red (off), this happens using the handset, or using the on/off on the TV

Hi, it sounds like its sensing a fault and going into protection mode, unfortunatly this could need internal repair. This is common with any tvs with standby mode. Hope this helps.
