Mend Dimplex Exbury 2KW Heater Repair No Heat

How Can I fix Dimplex Exbury 2KW heater? ?

The lighting works but no heating. I manually adjust the thermostatic round heating control knob concealed behind the brass fender but it keeps rotating without stopping at minimum or maximum. The fan is working but blows out room temperature air. Is there a part replacement number please?

The control knob will be on a shaft - it sounds to me from what you say that the knob has become loose on the shaft - as you rotate the knob the shaft remains in the same place.

Pull the knob off and examine the mechanism that fixes one to the other.
