mk3 mondeo ac air con heater digital control unit?

hi my MK3 mondeo AC AIR CON HEATER DIGITAL CONTROL UNIT keeps switching to auto every 10 seconds any help would be appreciated as its getting cold outside many thanks josey

It should still go to temp that you set it to,and I think the default setting is usually 21degrees,if it switches and functions the temp and direction of air flow then I would guess the controll panel has a falt
