Need a service Manual for a Hotpoint WD61 Washer Dryer?
I have a Couple of faults with A hotpoint Washer Dryer. The dryer function Failed first. This left the clothes wetter than when it came out after the spin. Now there is a grinding noise, posibly the Bearings. i would like a service manual to see if i could determine whether it is the logic failing on the programmer, or whether its a valve that is failing and letting in water when drying. and similar to find out the grinding noise. i am 15th edition sparks and mechanically minded, just a Manual would help!
Hi - I had the same problem - it was the Orange and Blue wires broken due to the massive amount of thrashing around the drum does. I have fixed that, but I also have grinding bearings. Did you ever find a freeby manual ???

hi you can get the service manual at hotpointservice.com also on a wd61 a slow release of water is trickled in machine for the drying process hope this helps
