how to fix-IBM Thinkpad R61- Security chip ?

When i power on the laptop , it gives 4 beeps 4 times & shuts down. I came to know it is due to security chip problem.
i have visited various forums , but no help.

A bad security chip means a new motherboard is required. In other words the laptop is scrap.
