Mend Fisher & Paykel DW60DCX2 Fp

How can I fix fisher & Paykel dishwasher E6?

I took the racks out of my F&P DW60DCX2 d/w to give it a descale clean. Near the end of the cycle it displayed error msg E6. F&P have told me I need to call out a technician. Is there anything I can do to rectify this without having to pay for the service call??
