Mend Fisher & Paykel B1602E Mode

How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel B1602E oven?

I think I need to replace my bottom oven element as all the bake mode selections will not work, only those that use the top element. The inner oven is a one piece unit so it looks like I will have to remove it to get access to the bottom element. I would like to repair it while it remains installed.
Can this be done and how do I go about it?
