Mend Fisher & Paykel GW612 Washing Machine Repair

my f&p gw612 - once wash completed goes to first spin, then alarms , lights?

hi there, My fisher & paykel (model GW612) gets past the wash cycle and when it goes to spin mode, alarms continuously and lights 1 and 7 are lit - any help would be greatly appreciated - Im a lady with Multiple Sclerosis and if I can fix this myself - it will save me hundreds (which I dont have ) thank you in advance

This sounds like what mine is doing right now. Stops and beeps and flashes 'long wash' and 'short wash' LED's at the same time

That is fault code 130 which is a fault coming from the RPS (rotor position sensor) which is mounted on top of the motor copper winding. Some times caused by corrosion causing a bad connection. You will have to lie the machine down on it's front. Remove the rotor bowl from the motor. Loosen the 4 bolts holding the copper stator winding and pull it down slightly. Remove wiring plug from RPS & check for corrosion on contacts. Clean away corrosion & replace all parts. If fault persists then put in a new RPS.

I need to know if you are counting the lights along the top row from left to right or right to left. It makes a big difference to the error code.
