Mend Entered Code Pressed

how can i fix my alarm?

I entered the alarm code to set the alarm and it came up with " do I want to program chimes" i pressed no and nothing happened. It now won't set the alarm and I can't get rid of that question. What can I do?

It's not a cyrex vertex mk 9 by any chance?,because they have a habit of displaying such messages when buttons have been pressed accidentally.

help if you give the make of the alarm panel are you blonde by any chance ?

if its anything like mine then you have to type your code in then press reset on the alarm panel.
