Mend Vauxhall Astra G Engine Rev Fine

my astra g speedo isnt working?

i,ve changed the engine in my 1.6,8v astra g but now the speedo doesnt work,the rev counter is fine and its showing new millage on clocks.this is driving me mad it keeps cutting out everytime i stop,can anyone please help me,thanks-dave
