Mend GHD Problem Actual Help

GHD's problem?

Is it normally the fuse that is the problem with the GHD's? or is it the actual straightener? I have sent mine back twice and its done the same. Please help

Although it could be the thermal fuse it could also be a R8/R11 resistor which needs replacing, if you can use a multimeter and soldering iron it is worth checking these.
