Mend Belling Format 600X Working Works Fine

Belling Format 'Control Deck Lights' not Working?

Belling Format 600X works fine but the Control Deck Lights that come on as soon as something is turned on the cooker do not come on anymore. Can anyone tell me where to go on the cooker to find the problem. I believe the actual light fitment is okay, it must be a controller somewhere that is at fault. Hope you can help

Belling Belling Format 600X Kitchen Appliances, Electric Cookers Working Works Fine

Control deck is lit by a long flourescent tube under the glass have never found anything other than the tube faulty on this model. To replace it isolate oven from mains . Remove screws from brown steel rail at top of glass facia remove rail remove all control knobs and clock knobs and remove glass facia top edge first you will see tube rotate it 1/4 turn and it lifts out.
