Beko CDA539F fridge freezer?

I have the above model which has worked perfectly well up to this time last week when i noticed the stuff in the fridge was all frozen. Switched off at the mains & left off over night & switched back on again the following morning only to find a few days later it has done exactly the same. I have now had the unite off since yesterday both fridge & freezer emptied to defrost. Just wondering if there is anything else I should do or do i bite the bullet & switch it back on while empty & see what happens?? The unite is only just 2 years old but Beko are unable to help as i did not take out the warrentee
