Mend Dimplex exbury 15 Flame Not Switching

Flame not switching on?

Hi i have a Dimplex exbury 15 electric fire and the flame effect wont switch on either by the manual switch or the remote control. The small light in the corner comes on when you try the remote but wont fire up the flames.

the part number is FP06008 and cost about £36 plus VAT and you can get one from James Fulton and son
