Mend Vulcan 50 Heating Boiler Service

has my boiler had its day still works?

I have an old vulcan boiler 50 never let me down its started to blow some black smoke out of the top of the cuboard do you think it needs a service

I cleaned it all out the jets got a flue brush on it had a new probe fitted and its working fine no more fumes hopfully will last a bit longer but thankyou for your advice

I would consider replacing it now with a new modern efficient one. We had a new one fitted 15 months ago and it is saving us a fortune on gas. The house is a lot warmer too!

We got British Gas to install ours - quick, good clean workers, and we got a discount too.
