Mend Mitsubishi Rear Projection Tv Repair No Picture

how can i fix my rear projection mitsubitshi wide screen hdtv?

i power on the tv then in about 3 secs the tv powers off without showing a picture.i am offshore 100 miles out in the gulf at this time & don't know the model but it was the first widescreen hdtv sold.i bought it about seven year ago.

That's a safety feature of the set. It knows something is wrong and switches off to protect itself and you.
