humax 9150 wont record unless tv on or on standby?
if you set the recorder to record a programme after you go to bed, for example, leave the recorder on, but turn the tv off, it wont record. If you leave the tv on standby , it will record.
Check whether you have a masthead amplifier that is powered from the TV.
If you do then check whether or not it is needed post DSO.
If it is not needed then remove it.
If it is needed then get a separate power supply for it.
Also check that when you switch off your TV you are not also switching off anything else.
